• Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, Utilization, and distribution of the company’s goods.
• Job Description:
- Advise the top management and BOD regarding the supply chain strategies and tactics which are aligned with the corporate vision and mission.
- Set the KPIs for the supply chain function and supply chain team members and follow up their implementation and achievement.
- Follow, Create, enhance supply chain strategies.
- Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations.
- Implementing logistic strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to warehouses.
- Manage the supply chain yearly budget and assure efficient utilization.
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
- Supervise logistics to make sure that all operations run smoothly.
- Identifying and minimizing risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption to the process.
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
- Develop cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers, vendors and manufacturers to land more profitable deals.
- Manage the inventories team (including Inventories Manager) to assure accurate movements and sufficient stock levels of all goods.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the supply chain team.
- Prepare and present periodical progress reports to top management and other stake holders.
- Analyze supply chain data and performance.
- Train the supply chain team and transfer his knowledge and know-how to them.
Job Requirements
- Engineering Background (preferably Electrical/Mechanical).
- Energy experience is highly preferred.
- +15 years of hands-on experience in supply chain operations.
- Solid academic background (MBA + international supply chain certification).
- A strategic and analytical mind.
- Strong planning skills and project management expertise.
- Complex problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding of risk management within the supply chain domain.
- Excellent negations skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Strategic planning and thinking, systems analysis and evaluation.
