About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team and lead the procurement of all raw materials, packaging, and other goods required for our cosmetics production. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sourcing strategy, negotiating with suppliers, managing costs, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of all purchased materials.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic sourcing plan to optimize the procurement of cosmetic ingredients, packaging materials, and other necessary goods.
• Conduct market research and identify qualified suppliers for cosmetic raw materials and packaging, considering factors like quality, price, sustainability, and reliability.
• Negotiate and secure favorable contracts with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to quality specifications.
• Manage supplier relationships, fostering strong communication and collaboration to ensure smooth procurement processes.
• Oversee the purchasing process, from requisition creation to order placement and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to maintain production continuity.
• Track and analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards for cosmetic ingredients and packaging.
• Manage a team of purchasing specialists (if applicable).
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new materials, and sourcing best practices within the cosmetics industry.
