Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee all aspects of the supply chain for our factory. You will be responsible for planning, sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and logistics to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of materials, maximizing cost-effectiveness and minimizing disruptions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials and packaging components.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to secure the best pricing and terms.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize carrying costs.
- Oversee logistics and distribution of finished packaging products.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment and timely deliveries.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives throughout the supply chain.
- Manage and develop the supply chain team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical ability and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Proven track record of optimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software (preferred).
