Industry: AviationWork Model: On-siteLocation: RiyadhJob SummaryThe CCTV Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of CCTV systems and related security equipment. The role ensures that all surveillance systems operate reliably and securely, supporting the organization’s security and safety requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventive maintenance of CCTV devices, ensuring all systems are functioning properly and meet performance standards.Carry out device replacements, upgrades, and adjustments to maintain optimal surveillance coverage.Conduct testing and calibration of CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and associated security systems to ensure correct operation.Install and configure CCTV equipment, including cameras, recording systems, monitors, and supporting infrastructure.Run, terminate, and label cables, ensuring neat and secure installation practices compliant with safety standards.Troubleshoot hardware, wiring, and connectivity issues in CCTV and related security systems.Perform firmware and software updates on CCTV devices and management systems.Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, equipment replacements, testing results, and incidents.Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate CCTV systems with broader security and monitoring solutions.Ensure proper positioning, focus, and coverage of CCTV cameras to support security requirements.Assist in evaluating new CCTV technologies and recommending improvements to enhance surveillance effectiveness.Follow safety guidelines and best practices during installation, repair, and maintenance activities.Provide technical support and respond promptly to service requests and urgent security system issues.Job RequirementsDiploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related technical field (preferred).Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role within the security systems industry.Strong hands-on experience with CCTV installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.Knowledge of different types of CCTV systems, including analog, IP-based, and hybrid solutions.Familiarity with DVRs, NVRs, video management systems, and related security monitoring platforms.Proficiency in structured cabling, connectors, and termination for CCTV and security equipment.Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in surveillance systems.Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations related to electrical and security device installation.Good communication skills, teamwork abilities, and attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to urgent issues efficiently.Aviation experience is preferred.Required CertificationsOEM Maintenance Certificates (relevant to CCTV equipment and systems)Technician Safety CertificationsPreferred Certifications (a Plus)IP Surveillance Systems CertificationAccess Control & Security Systems CertificationNetwork Fundamentals Certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+)
