Industry: AviationWork Model: On-siteLocation: RiyadhJob SummaryThe CCTV Engineer is responsible for configuring, installing, and integrating advanced CCTV systems, including cameras, NVRs, and Video Management Systems (VMS). This role ensures the successful deployment, optimization, and support of surveillance technologies to meet organizational security needs.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and install CCTV cameras, NVRs, and supporting infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality and coverage.Perform integration of Video Management Systems (VMS) with security platforms, including advanced solutions such as Milestone, Axis, and Bosch.Conduct system commissioning, testing, and validation to confirm compliance with project specifications and performance requirements.Plan and execute structured cabling, cable terminations, and labeling for CCTV and related security systems.Provide troubleshooting and advanced technical support for CCTV equipment, VMS platforms, and security integrations.Optimize system settings and configurations to improve recording quality, storage efficiency, and retrieval performance.Perform regular maintenance, firmware updates, and upgrades to cameras, NVRs, and VMS systems.Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate CCTV systems with access control, alarms, and other enterprise security solutions.Document system designs, configurations, and changes for operational reference and compliance purposes.Train junior technicians on proper installation, configuration, and troubleshooting techniques.Work with vendors and OEMs to resolve escalated issues and ensure warranty support for deployed systems.Ensure all installations and configurations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.Participate in project planning, providing technical expertise on CCTV system design, equipment selection, and best practices.Stay updated on emerging CCTV technologies, video analytics, and AI-enabled surveillance solutions.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related technical field (preferred).Minimum of 3 – 7 years of experience in CCTV engineering, installation, and integration roles.Proven hands-on experience configuring and installing CCTV cameras, NVRs, and VMS platforms.Strong expertise in VMS integrations, particularly with Milestone, Axis, and Bosch systems.Knowledge of video networking protocols, storage requirements, and bandwidth optimization for large-scale CCTV deployments.Proficiency in structured cabling, connectors, and infrastructure supporting CCTV systems.Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Strong documentation, reporting, and system design skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical decision-making skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across IT and security departments.Aviation experience is preferred.Required CertificationsMilestone Certified TechnicianAxis/Bosch OEM CertificationsPreferred Certifications (a Plus)ONVIF CertificationIP Surveillance Systems CertificationCompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking certificationAccess Control & Security Systems Certification
