The role ensures compliance with contractual terms, provides commercial and contractual support to project teams, and mitigates risks to safeguard the company’s interests.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and related documentation in line with company policies and project requirements.Analyze contract terms and conditions to identify risks, obligations, and opportunities.Assist in drafting tender documents, bids, proposals, and contract agreements.Provide support in contract negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project timelines, and cost control measures.Monitor contract performance, variations, claims, and potential disputes.Prepare and review claims, extensions of time (EOT), and other contractual correspondences.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure alignment of contractual and commercial matters.Maintain proper records of all contract-related documents, correspondences, and reports.Support the management in dispute resolution and settlement of claims.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in civil, Architecture, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (mandatory).Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Contract Engineer or in a similar contracts/commercial role within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts (FIDIC or equivalent), and project management principles.Experience in contract administration for large-scale construction projects.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software/tools.Strong command of written and spoken English (Arabic is an advantage).Key Competencies:Attention to detail and accuracy in contract review.Strong organizational and time management skills.Problem-solving and risk management abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Professional integrity and confidentiality.
