- Job Details:I managed the ramp operations at Piarco International Airport, with a team made up of 16 coordinators, 54 team leads and 210 ramp attendants. I managed the airport ground and ramp operations for Caribbean Airlines, British Airways, Jetblue Airways, American Airlines, United Airlines, Westjet Airlines, Copa Airways, LIAT Airways and additional South American Carriers. For a single shift I handled an average of 18 flights for Caribbean Airlines our biggest client. Of these flights 6 - 8 are international flights using a Boeing 737 and 10 - 12 flights are domestic inter-island flights between Trinidad and Tobago using an ATR-72. I also work 2 flights with JetBlue Airways (A320 Aircraft) to FLL and JFK respectively, 1 Flight with American Airlines to MIA with an A321 aircraft, 1 British Airways Flight to London using a Boeing 777, 1 Copa flight to Panama using an E192 Aircraft and 2 Flights daily with LIAT, a regional carrier using ATR's. On average for a single 8 - 10 hour shift I would manage 18 to 26 flights and this includes manpower assignment, equipment assignment and monitoring the flights to ensure safety and procedural compliance.
