Research Officer I - Seed Systems

• Job Details:Collection, preservation, multiplication and promotion of traditional underutilized vegetables; implement efficient and cost effective on-station and participatory on-farm varietal field trials; develop experimental data collection protocols for evaluating different vegetables and varieties for better agronomic performance, yield and quality; implement, monitor, collect and report data; conduct preliminary data analysis; coordinate varietal participatory selection trial with farmers and other value chain stakeholders, and identify important traits; engage with the national and regional research centers for multilocation adaptation trails; analyze seed systems in Ethiopia with emphasis on vegetable seed; provide training and technical guidance to stakeholders, local seed producers, private and public project partners in vegetable seed production, preservation and good vegetable production technologies; contribute in project progress reporting and publication and represent the project on workshops and related events.

Project Officer II - Crop Specialist

• Job Details:Providing technical guidance and conducting capacity building activities in delivery of crop related extension services to agricultural one-stop shop staff, and support centres crop related extension services to smallholder clients.

Senior Agronomist

• Job Details:Prospect and identify relevant geographical areas for implantation of the clusters.
