Engineering ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:SUEZ THERMAL POWER PLANT JOB PURPOSE: The major function of this job is Planning, directing, and coordinating all activities in the Engineering Unit Section in an effort to reach maximum levels of productivity and creativity throughout the Engineering/Construction phase of the project . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Coordination of internal and external engineering activities and the interdisciplinary interfaces in close coordination with the discipline team leaders. • Ensure technical requirements defined in the contract are properly incorporated in the engineering deliverable. • Manage and facilitates communication across the engineering functions to ensure that the project objectives and needs are met. • Coordinates Internal and External Design Reviews. • Understanding of the major design engineering disciplines, i.e., Piping, Equipment, Process, Civil/Structural, Instrumentation, and Electrical. • Support the Cost Control and Forecasting activities in the engineering disciplines. • Coordination and of internal and external claims and technical issues • Lead technical negotiations and bid evaluation for package units and other costly equipment. • Analyzing and resolving field construction issues. • Support Construction by attending site on a regular basis to ease the flow of and resolution of field RFI’s. • Design and construction method enhancements for cost and time saving
