My role leads the Governance, Risk Management and Compliance workstreams in Cellulant. I actively participate and contribute to the deployment of the right controls environment and management approach that assure Cellulant and its stakeholders are safeguarded. ● I attend relevant leadership meetings and support oversight of compliance in all markets. ● In the event of serious breaches of regulation or board risk tolerances, ensure EXCO and relevant regulators are informed; actions are taken quickly to remediate the issues; and the activities are discontinued. ● I track significant issues from compliance metrics, assurance activities, audit reviews and regulatory inspections, providing validation of issue closure where necessary. ● I support all control checks undertaken by the company as part of risk management and ensure that business lines and functions implement quality assurance standards and workflows/SOPs for their activities. ● I am accountable for identification and escalation of potential risks and issues to EXCO through appropriate governance channels. In addition to periodic reporting and timely escalation of significant risks and issues arising from compliance and operational risk monitoring and assurance activities.

• Job Details:UBA Pensions Custodian is a subsidiary of UBA Group, a leading Pan African financial Services group with operations in 20 African countries, also in the US, UK, France, and the middle east (UAE). ● I am member of the executive management team in the organization reporting to the MD & Board risk committee, ensuring the organization always aligns with its risk appetite, formulated policies, and regulatory requirements. ● I monitor that the organization operates within the risk appetite and acceptance profile as defined by the board (which involves establishing the level of risk the company can be willing to take) ● I design, review, update, and implement the overall risk management process in the organization. ● Development and monitoring of the key risk indicators (KRIs) to assess or detect the likelihood of risk occurrence and position the enterprise for prevention or mitigation of risk event. ● Collection of risk information from source systems, and departments, analyzing same and applying to various key risk areas to update the risk profile. ● Co-ordination of the initiation and periodic review of policies, Sustainable development framework and risk management plans for the entire company ● Documentation and Maintenance of a risk register based on the identified risks, roles, applicable regulations, and policies. ● Implementation of the Business Continuity Plan for the organization, , Sustainable practices monitoring, ensuring regular testing of the plan for readiness in case of emergency. ● Advising Board and Management on the key risks to the business, educating HODs and entire staff on their respective roles in risk management process ● Periodic Risk Control Self-Assessment of entire enterprise by identifying the key risks, measuring the impact, and advancing controls /mitigation measures
