Job Description
Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with the operations team and other central office teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities. This includes identifying and allocating resources, planning for material mobilization, and advising on project methodologies to establish clear expectations and meet project completion deadlines.
Subcontractor Management
Oversee the selection of subcontractors, negotiate agreements, and ensure effective relationship management during contract execution to maintain productive partnerships with external providers.
Schedule Monitoring
Monitor the schedule baseline by factoring in engineering, procurement, financial, and construction activities to track progress and achieve project targets.
Cost Control Systems
Establish and maintain systems and procedures for cost monitoring and reporting to reduce material waste and optimize resource usage.
Budget and Progress Reporting
Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation to ensure project information is current and accurate.
Change Management
Manage variation proposals and drawings, assess inventory levels, and initiate change requests as needed to accommodate client requirements effectively.
Issue Resolution
Collaborate with supervisory staff, owners, contractors, and design professionals to address and resolve challenges, including work procedures, complaints, and project implementation issues.
Compliance and Inspection
Conduct project inspections and reviews to ensure adherence to building safety standards, codes, and regulations.
Incident Investigation
Investigate construction site incidents, such as damage, accidents, or delays, to confirm that proper procedures are followed and necessary corrective actions are implemented.
Plan and Contract Interpretation
Explain plans, designs, and contract terms to relevant stakeholders, including owners, administrative staff, workers, or clients, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Material and Supply Management
Manage the procurement and distribution of materials and supplies to ensure timely project completion.
Project Close-Out
Coordinate the close-out phase by scheduling demobilization, testing and commissioning, generating certificates, drafting as-built drawings and operation manuals, addressing variation orders, and finalizing project compensation to achieve successful project completion.
Technical Recruitment
Conduct technical interviews to evaluate and secure a skilled workforce, ensuring the project is adequately staffed with qualified personnel.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must have experience in infrastructure projects.
- More than 15 years of experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
