Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced purchasing specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, and cost negotiation. They will be responsible for sourcing products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
- Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to fulfill procurement needs.
- Track orders, ensure timely delivery, and resolve supply chain issues.
- Maintain and update purchasing records, reports, and pricing data.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
- Work closely with internal teams (finance, operations, etc.) to optimize purchasing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, inventory management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
