Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced purchasing specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, and cost negotiation. They will be responsible for sourcing products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to fulfill procurement needs.
  • Track orders, ensure timely delivery, and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Maintain and update purchasing records, reports, and pricing data.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Work closely with internal teams (finance, operations, etc.) to optimize purchasing processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, inventory management, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
