Job Description
Job Purpose:
Check, review, and monitor the implementation of the HSE strategy.
Responsbilties:
- Monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
- Developing measures to assure personnel safety.
- Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work-plan.
- Investigate accidents that have occurred within incident areas.
- Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan.
- Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
- Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
- Promotes safe practices at the job site.
- Enforces safety guidelines.
- Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
- Apply operational rules, HSE standards and methods.
- Help improve the handling of HSE requirements in the company.
- Initiate Workspace HSE reports and findings.
- Organize inspection schedules for safety.
- Promote Workspace HSE activities to make sure rules are obeyed.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- bachelor’s degree in a health, safety, or equivalent
- Three years’ experience in the fields of occupational health and safety requirements and performing internal HSE audits.
