Job Description
- Working with line managers in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
- Managing an HR department.
- Leading the HR agenda for international projects supporting, coaching and advising on HR processes.
- Operating as the communication hub for the HR team ensuring information flow and sharing of knowledge.
- Managing the recruitment and selection process.
- Engages and attracts potential talents through the usage of LinkedIn Recruiter and other similar sourcing tools and strategies.
- Maintaining a smooth onboarding process.
- Updates the internal vacancy status report as well as PEINSO recruitment platforms so that it accurately reflects the status of all selection activities.
- Overseeing and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Provides an exceptional candidate experience – through regular and effective communication, follow-up and feedback
- Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
- Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Facilitating and assisting with providing training and coaching on key HR and Management skills to the business.
- Conducting research on Human Resource best practice and making recommendations as appropriate.
- Acting as the local advisor on Employment legislation
Job Requirements
- BSc Degree/master’s degree or equivalent. a recognized accreditation in HR is ideal but not essential.
- A minimum of 5-7 years’ HR related job experience, which will include a minimum of three years in HR Management Role.
- Payroll background is a plus.
- Proven people management skills, including experience in employee relations; strong mentoring and coaching skills.
- You will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to engage, inspire and influence people.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for this role.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
