Job Description
- Analyze financial data and retail performance metrics to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for retail operations, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for retail divisions.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgeted figures, providing explanations and recommendations for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of financial models to assess new retail initiatives, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Assist in inventory management analysis, including stock turnover, shrinkage, and cost optimization strategies.
- Participate in internal audits and ensure adherence to financial controls and company policies.
- Provide financial support for pricing strategies, margin analysis, and cost control initiatives.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a financial analyst, preferably within the retail or consumer electronics sector.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Experience working in an office-based, on-site environment.
