Job Description
- Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports to support management decision-making.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for foodstuff packing and distribution operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Evaluate cost structures and provide recommendations for cost control and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the food distribution or FMCG sector is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.
