Job Description
As a Senior Magento Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Magento-based e-commerce websites and applications. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create robust, scalable, and high-performance e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Magento, a strong understanding of e-commerce principles, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Magento e-commerce websites and applications.
- Customize and extend Magento features and functionality based on business requirements.
- Implement and manage third-party integrations, including payment gateways, shipping providers, and other services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on e-commerce solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Magento releases, features, and industry trends.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Magento best practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Magento development, including Magento 2.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and Magento framework.
- Experience with Magento front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and templating systems.
- Familiarity with Magento's architecture, including modules, themes, and extensions.
- Experience with database management and optimization, including MySQL.
- Proficiency with version control systems, especially GIT.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
