Job Description
Alumil Egypt is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with our accounting policies, and providing accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct random inventory checks on aluminum profiles and accessories to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Cash Handling: Receive cash or checks from customers while ensuring appropriate documentation and security protocols are followed.
- Treasury Recording: Accurately record daily treasury transactions in the ERP system to ensure real-time tracking of financial activities.
- Returns Procedure Compliance: Review returns procedures to ensure all return transactions comply with Alumil's return policy and standards.
- Invoicing: Issue customer invoices through the system after verifying customer financial statements, ensuring all elements (including sales tax, discounts, and actual prices) are correctly calculated.
- Payment Processing: Issue any approved payments by management, ensuring that all supporting documents are complete and accurate.
- Accounts Payable: Manage factory accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper allocation and recording in the accounting system.
- Expense Control: Monitor and control all expenses versus budget in the Profit and Loss statements, ensuring adherence to financial forecasts.
- Audit Participation: Collaborate in both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting information as required.

Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an accounts receivable accountant or similar role within a corporate setting.
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a reputable university.
- Good command of computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
