Job Description
- Preparing journal entries
- Managing month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconciling general ledger accounts
- Ensuring accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting principles
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Supporting audits and internal controls
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for improvement
- Handling accounts payable and receivable
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve accounting issues
Job Requirements
- Work experience as Senior Accountant
- Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting Major - English Section
- Familiarity with financial statements
- Experience with reporting and general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- English Language (V. Good)
- Preferably lives in Sheikh Zayed or 6th October city
- Ability to think analytically
- Ability to work under pressure & to meet strict deadlines
