Job Description
- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor and inspect work progress, quality, and adherence to design drawings and engineering standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports documenting progress, challenges, and resource utilization.
- Ensure all materials and equipment are available and properly utilized according to project requirements.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to guide construction activities.
- Assist in the preparation and review of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify and address potential risks or delays, proposing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and site management practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and project documentation.
- Solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to work on-site (office-based arrangement) and adapt to changing project requirements.
