Job Description
- Conduct resourcing activities for service providers and vendors
- Research, inspect, and evaluate the vendors and service providers
- Request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
- Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Keep track of logistics and update the company’s inventory
- Analyze operational performance and resolve issues
Job Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or enterprise resource planning
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a similar field preferred
- Excellent understanding of Procurement processes
- Great project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
