Job Description
- Review the project documentations such as drawings, BOQs, and specifications in order to divide the project into packages.
- Prepare procurement plans.
- Prepare cost estimates and tender documents.
- Review contract terms and conditions and make recommendations.
- Receive quotations from vendors, suppliers &sub-contractors, analyze, revise, &prepare comparison sheet for rates provided by them.
- Know about the equipment, materials, and supplies used in the construction industry and their suppliers.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous contract terms and conditions.
- Perform full partial/ project break down by himself according to the task assigned to him from the team leader.
- Develop and maintain good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Architecture).
- Experience in owner side (developers) or consultant offices.
- Proven experience in tendering or project management in engineering or construction industry.
- Very good computer skills: AutoCAD and MS office.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
