Job Description

  • Lead and administer the maintenance, repair, and management of all equipment for assigned facilities in accordance with company equipment standards to ensure company standards and goals are met.
  • Implement department objectives and strategies to maintain an effective equipment program that assures the utilization of vehicle assets.
  • Design, plan and manage projects' logistics function, which may include but is not limited to maintenance, construction mobilization and site services
  • Planning, organizing, processing, and controlling the complete flow of materials, equipment, services and information associated with the project
  • Act as a technical advisor to field equipment personnel to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Schedule equipment maintenance to coordinate with needs of operations for all assigned equipment.
  • Ensure maintenance activities provide reliable, cost-effective, and driver acceptable equipment on a timely basis.
  • Manage all equipment preventative Maintenance schedules.
  • Assist management team with final equipment budgets and potential equipment purchases in order to meet construction needs
  • Maintain communications with local equipment dealers and appropriate vendors to ensure that dealer support, repair decisions, costs and warranty recovery meet expectations.
  • Ensures safe and reliable assets are available to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of the maintenance shops through regular inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, administration or facility management
  • Minimum experience of 10 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Effective communication and people management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
