Job Description
Research and identify new suppliers through market and competitor analysis.
Evaluate the performance of current and potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.
Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure budget compliance and requirements are met.
Monitor and analyze supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.
Prepare reports and analyses regarding supplies and suppliers for management.
Coordinate and track delivery processes to ensure suppliers meet deadlines.
Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure continuous supply and provide ongoing support.
Advise and guide different departments on sourcing and available options.
Maintain comprehensive records of suppliers and procurement activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration — candidates with other degrees are acceptable if they have a solid background in procurement or supply chain operations.
- Proven experience of 1–6 years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. vendor research, cost analysis, RFQs, RFPs).
- Solid negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement or ERP software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar systems).
- Ability to analyze and compare supplier offers in terms of price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken); Chinese languages are a plus.
