Job Description
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
- Participate in setting the main objectives of the factory and participate in their formulation.
- Preparing sub-plans and executive programs for planning and production in order to achieve the main objectives of the factory.
- Participate in the meetings of the factory and sector management and express an opinion on the results and decisions.
- Attend the meetings of the sector and assist in the formulation and codification of recommendations and decisions issued and the development of appropriate plans.
- Implementation of approved quality plans for planning and production.
- Prepare the corrective and preventive procedures necessary for the management of planning and production in order to achieve the main objectives of the institution.
- Participate in the formulation and preparation of planning and production procedures with the management representative of the quality system and the director of planning and quality assurance.
- Review and audit the procedures, forms, records and instructions of the quality system for planning and production before being approved by the Director General.
- Training the individuals working in the Planning and Production Department on their work and transferring his experience to them so that they are qualified to replace him in the event of a vacancy in the position.
- Approving all requests for warehouse needs after signing and reviewing them from the head of the department writing the request.
- Prepare monthly and weekly download plans for all departments and follow up their implementation with the heads of departments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, Mechanics, Production etc…
- Proven Experience as Planning Engineer at least 5 years is must.
- Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or a similar role
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Demand Planner
