Job Description
- Reviewing design drawings, BOQ & Specs.
- Calculation of any variation order
- Check the Quantity survey for all project resources required and coordinate with the project manager to plan the resources (Materials, scaffolding, sub-contractor, ……etc.)
- Responsible for reviewing preparing & updating projects’ BOQs and calculating quantities with the Technical office team.
- Review shop drawings with the Engineering team.
- Coordination with site team members to manage the work as per the project plan
- Responsible for the technical revisions of all drawings, at different phases of the work progress with the technical office team.
- Responsible for reviewing structure & MEP drawings and technical coordination between all disciplines with the technical office team.
- Responsible for reviewing all shop drawings received from sub-contractors with the technical office team.
- Responsible for communicating with contractors & suppliers.
- Support the project manager with communication letters.
- Reviewing sub-contractors / Client invoices based on approved IR & MIR
- Responsible for regularly updating the “Construction Details Library”.
- Responsible for regularly updating the “Vendors List” of manufacturers and suppliers.
- Responsible for responding to RFIs and site queries.
- Attend meetings with consultants, contractors, suppliers & client representatives as needed.
- Monitoring of project construction plan.
- Evaluation of sub-contractors.
- Monitoring of procurement plan and resources required.
- Reviewing site requests ( Service / Purchasing)
- Submitting material for approval with the coordination of the procurement and quality team with the technical office team.
- Negotiate with sub-contractors for any claim/issue and prepare his evaluation
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Project Manager for discussion and proper solution.
- Monitoring of material and its consumption and wastage.
- Daily monitoring of materials at the project warehouse.
- Prepare the reports for tracking and control sheets.
- Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand them over to the project consultant with the engineering team

- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements.
- Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess the ongoing performance of direct reports
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil.
- 12+ years in managerial level (Project Control / Tech. Office department).
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Very Good Primavera user.
- Very good in ( AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, Etc).
- Very good knowledge of contract terms.
