Job Description
- Editing Footage: Cutting and rearranging clips.
- Adding Effects and Transitions: Enhancing visual appeal with effects, transitions, and graphics.
- Sound Editing: Adjusting audio levels, adding music, and ensuring sound quality.
- Color Correction: Enhancing or adjusting colors to achieve a desired visual style.
- Rendering and Exporting: Preparing the final video for distribution on various platforms.
Job Requirements
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Light works, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)\
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
