Job Description

Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), at the New Administrative Capital (NAC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill Students Life Officer / specialist vacancy, to start immediately.

EUI seeks applicants for full-time employment and invites candidates to become engaged in an interactive and collaborative environment. The targeted candidate will be responsible for the execution of students’ engagement activities, Find below details of all requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • Execute execution of students’ engagement activities, Manage student life budget and resources effectively.
  • Stay up to date on current trends and best practices in student life programming.
  • Liaise with external organizations to create opportunities for student engagement and internships.
  • Compile reports and data on student life activities and participation.
  • communicate and build relations with companies and entities to provide training and internships for the students.   

Responsibilities related to events management:

  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of student events throughout the year, including orientation programs, social events, cultural activities, and leadership workshops.
  • Oversee logistics like budgeting, scheduling, venue booking, and vendor selection related to students events planning.
  • Promote events through various channels to ensure high student participation. 

Responsibilities related to Student Leadership Development:

  • Advise student government organizations and clubs, providing guidance and support for their activities and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement programs that foster leadership skills, teamwork, and communication among students.
  • Train and mentor student leaders, preparing them to take on responsible roles within the University community. 

Responsibilities related to Positive Student Life Environment:

  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify student needs and interests and develop programs that address them.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity, ensuring all students feel welcome and supported.
  • Maintain communication channels with students to gather feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in college student personnel, psychology, social work, education, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in Student Life experience, higher education student activities, and higher education administration
  • Demonstrate ability in long-range planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of principles of student development in higher education.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated skills in public speaking.
  • Ability to work effectively in a shared governance environment.
  • Ability to provide customer service with a customer service-oriented priority.
  • Good computer skills and a variety of job-related software applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in English, with a diverse population both orally and in writing.
