Job Description
- Study and understand the contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs).
- Prepare technical submittals and negotiate them with the client.
- Develop conceptual and detailed design documents, lists, calculation notes, drawings, and detailed material take-offs required for the project, and negotiate them with all relevant parties.
- Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Negotiate technical and financial issues with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare clarification issues to be sent to the client regarding missing, conflicting, or confusing requirements in the tender/opportunity.
- Prepare design documents, system and equipment sizing, and create BOQs for design and build tenders/opportunities.
- Review and validate design documents, system and equipment sizing, and BOQs for pre-designed tenders/opportunities. Conduct quantity surveys for lump-sum items.
- Receive and evaluate technical and financial offers from suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the tender/opportunity.
- Coordinate and communicate with procurement, operations, and other relevant departments to ensure the completeness of the offers.
