Job Description

Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary after getting RO from planning dept.
Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates for all orders with suppliers
Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
Negotiating prices and payments terms to get the best cash flow for Masria
Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.
Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping purposes.
Prepare invitation-of-bid forms, and mail forms to supplier firms or distribute forms for public posting. (processing tender)
Handling the shipping way with suppliers of our orders normal air freight ; sea freight or using express service
Determine the shipping terms with suppliers Exwork ; door to door to airport only
Tracking all shipments with forwarders and shipping lines
Managing all important documents with finance such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
Attending official customs meeting if there are problems with our shpts
Getting special governmental approvals for our shipment NTRA chemical etc
Following up the clearance procedures with our forwarders
Handling the transportation and pickup procedures from and to our factory
