Job Description
- Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and expand strong, long-term relationships with food manufacturing and processing clients, understanding their needs and delivering food ingredient solutions.
- Sales Growth and Target Achievement: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets, including upselling and cross-selling a diverse portfolio of food ingredients.
- Technical Knowledge and Consultation: Serve as a knowledgeable resource on food ingredient applications, regulatory requirements, and formulation support, collaborating with technical teams to assist client innovation projects.
- Market Intelligence and Reporting: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Order Management and Coordination: Oversee the entire order process from quotation to delivery, working closely with logistics, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Problem Resolution: Act as a point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Job Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field; minimum 3–5 years of sales or account management experience in the food ingredients, food manufacturing, or related industries.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of food ingredients, applications, and industry regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, FSMA) with the ability to discuss technical product details confidently.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets; skilled in building client trust, managing negotiations, and closing deals effectively.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both Arabic and English, with strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
