Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall construction plans.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and commissioning processes.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve technical issues, discrepancies, or potential risks.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Assist in procurement and verification of MEP materials, equipment, and resources required for site operations.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems, ensuring all deliverables meet project requirements.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices on-site to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address queries and facilitate smooth project execution.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in MEP site engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in supervising MEP installations and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards relevant to MEP systems.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for design, planning, and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving site challenges.
