Job Description
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and direct construction contractors, subcontractors and workers.
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the work progress on daily basis.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or architecture engineering.
- 10-15 years Proven experience in construction management or operations, with a focus on execution.
- Strong knowledge of finishing process
- Good knowledge of MEP and civil works.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in construction management tools (e.g., MS Office, Primavera, or similar software).
- Knowledge of risk management and budget management principles. (Preferred)
- Experience in managing large-scale construction projects. (Preferred)
- Experience with construction contract negotiations and claims management. (Preferred)
- Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, like Project Management Professional (PMP), IPMA, PRINCE 1or2 certification. (Preferred)
