Job Description
- Design, plan, and oversee pivot irrigation systems for large-scale agricultural operations.
- Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation equipment.
- Monitor soil moisture levels, plant water needs, and irrigation scheduling for optimal crop performance.
- Provide technical expertise on the cultivation of fodder crops, palm trees, and fruit trees.
- Conduct field visits to ensure effective agricultural practices are being followed.
- Analyze and resolve agricultural issues related to water use efficiency, crop yield, and soil quality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Saudi agricultural sector.
- Extensive hands-on experience with center pivot irrigation systems.
- Strong understanding of climatic and soil conditions in Saudi Arabia.
- Familiarity with crop rotation, fertilization plans, and pest management.
