Job Description
-Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of efficient irrigation systems for landscaping, parks, and agricultural areas.
-Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation infrastructure, ensuring proper water distribution and conservation.
-Contribute to the development and application of water management strategies to optimize water usage and minimize waste.
-Monitor and evaluate irrigation system performance to identify areas for improvement or maintenance needs.
-Collaborate with engineering and landscape teams to integrate irrigation systems into overall site designs.
-Conduct regular field inspections and technical assessments of soil, water pressure, and system functionality.
-Provide technical input on fertilization, crop health, and irrigation scheduling to support landscaping and agricultural activities.
-Assist in implementing pest control and crop management plans to promote healthy growth and productivity.
-Follow sustainable practices and environmental guidelines in all irrigation-related tasks.
-Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of irrigation equipment and agricultural materials.
-Prepare reports and documentation related to irrigation system performance and field observations.
Job Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Irrigation Engineering, or a related field.
-2–5 years of hands-on experience in irrigation system design, implementation, and maintenance.
-Solid understanding of water-efficient irrigation techniques and agricultural support practices.
-Familiarity with soil analysis, fertilization techniques, and pest management solutions.
-Ability to use irrigation-related software and tools.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
-Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills and a proactive work approach.
-Awareness of sustainable irrigation practices and environmental compliance standards is a plus.
