Job Description
-Assist in managing agricultural activities such as crop planning, planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
-Monitor crop health, soil conditions, and environmental factors to ensure optimal productivity.
-Conduct field inspections and collect data to assess and improve agricultural performance.
-Participate in the application of sustainable farming practices and the adoption of modern agricultural technologies.
-Coordinate with the irrigation and landscaping teams to ensure integration of agricultural systems within the project scope.
-Analyze soil samples and recommend appropriate treatments to enhance soil health and crop yield.
-Keep records of field operations, inputs, and results for reporting and future planning.
-Research and stay up-to-date on agricultural trends, tools, and innovations relevant to the role.
-Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant agricultural regulations and environmental standards.
-Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation related to field activities and agricultural outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in agricultural engineering or landscape management, preferably within large-scale real estate or resort projects.
- Strong knowledge of soil science, irrigation systems, and sustainable agricultural practices.
- Experience with plant selection, pest management, and disease control in diverse environments.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards relevant to agricultural operations.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and oversee field operations as required.
