Job Description
- Lead the technical planning and design of healthcare facilities, ensuring full compliance with local codes, healthcare regulations, and international standards.
- Provide expert consultation on space planning, patient flow, infection control, and healthcare-specific MEP systems.
- Manage and coordinate BIM workflows using Revit, ensuring high-quality integrated models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Oversee quality control for technical documentation, maintaining consistent standards across all project deliverables.
- Act as a technical advisor to clients, translating clinical requirements into functional, efficient, and compliant design solutions.
- Mentor and support junior staff and cross-functional teams on healthcare design standards, Revit best practices, and coordination processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and facility managers during all design and construction phases.
- Stay current with trends in healthcare design, advancements in technology, and updates to regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare consulting, technical design, or project delivery within the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of healthcare design standards and regulations, including FGI, HTM, and AIA Guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale healthcare projects from concept to construction.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills, with experience working with both clinical and technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
- BIM/Revit certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
- Experience with Lean healthcare design, operational planning, or evidence-based design.
- Prior experience working with multinational healthcare systems or international healthcare organizations.
