Job Description
- Track direct and indirect costs associated with operations.
- Analyze data to determine costs of products & services.
- Prepare cost analysis reports detailing costs of business activities.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and enhance profitability.
- Provide analysis and insights for annual budgets and forecasts.
- Develop financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and profit.
- Compare actual costs to budgeted costs and investigate variances.
Job Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing or industry-specific cost accounting preferred
- Proven success in improving accounting processes and controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Coursework in cost accounting, managerial accounting, and financial analysis
- Very good written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to explain detailed financial information clearly and concisely to various audiences
- Highly proficient with MS Office applications, accounting software, ERP platforms
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools
- Advanced Excel modeling skills
