Job Description
- Maintain optimal performance of computer systems and ensure users achieve maximum benefit from them.
- Manage and operate systems. Perform regular system updates, backups, and patch management to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Provide technical support in-person, via phone, or through remote desktop, assisting clients with system setup and issue resolution.
- Support the deployment of new applications.
- Create and manage new user accounts and profiles, addressing password-related issues as needed.
- Prioritize and manage multiple open cases efficiently and within established timelines.
- Diagnose and resolve network and system issues in a timely manner. Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
- Monitor network and system performance, identify bottlenecks or issues, and implement improvements. Utilize monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Implement network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network and system engineering or a similar role.
Proven experience with network design, system administration, and security management.
