Job Description
- Handle full-cycle recruitment for mid to senior-level roles across pharmaceutical functions such as R&D, QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, Production, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, and Medical Affairs.
- Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source qualified candidates using job boards (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn), employee referrals, social media, and recruitment agencies.
- Screen and shortlist resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate technical and HR interview rounds.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for niche and high-priority roles.
- Partner with external recruitment consultants and staffing agencies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical hiring standards, data privacy regulations, and internal SOPs.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives tailored to the pharmaceutical talent market.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and prepare recruitment dashboards/reports.
- Participate in campus hiring and industry events relevant to the pharma sector.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on talent acquisition experience, with at least 2+ years in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of functional roles in pharma (GMP, GLP, ICH guidelines familiarity is a plus).
- Experience using modern recruitment tools, job portals, and ATS systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with pharma hiring challenges, regulatory constraints, and workforce planning.
- Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
