Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Analyst - Business Performance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to transform data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reports.
- Consolidate data from SAP and other sources to ensure accuracy in financial and operational KPIs.
- Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports in Power BI for real-time business insights.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance.
- Assist in annual budget preparation and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Perform variance analysis versus actuals, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Support management in scenario planning and decision-making models.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather inputs for budget and forecast assumptions.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on sales, expenses, profitability, and performance by channel, region, or product line.
- Translate data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations that drive business strategies.
- Identify trends and support initiatives to optimize cost efficiency and revenue growth.
- Evaluate financial impact of strategic initiatives and operational changes.
- Leverage SAP reporting modules for accurate data extraction and process automation.
- Maintain and improve reporting templates, ensuring consistency across departments.
- Support digital transformation initiatives by integrating reporting tools with SAP and BI platforms.
- Recommend and implement improvements in data collection and reporting processes.
- Deliver clear, insightful presentations to senior management and business stakeholders.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as requested by leadership teams.
- Act as a reporting subject-matter expert, providing training and guidance to colleagues.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance financial literacy across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with business operations.
- Participate in internal audits and support the implementation of recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in reporting, financial analysis, or business analytics (preferably in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Retail).
- Strong expertise in SAP, with proven ability to extract, validate, and interpret data.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial models, pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint (executive presentations).
- Previous hands-on experience in Power BI for dashboarding and visualization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and actionably.
