Job Description

 

  • Interpret and enforce regulations of the occupational safety Egyptian law.
  • Perform periodic facility safety round based on a pre-prepared checklist.
  • Conduct regular safety rounds in the construction and renovation areas based on the pre-prepared checklist.
  • Investigate accidents to identify causes and to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
  • Record and report hazards, accidents, injuries and health issues within the workplace
  • Assist in HSE tasks/projects as required.
  • Participate in risk assessment.
  • Conduct on job safety training (OJT) sessions for employees and education programs, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment based on training plan. 
  • Stops any operation that is of imminent danger to personnel or property. 
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of current health and safety policies, regulations.
  • Expressing an opinion on the policy for raising awareness and educating employees through seminars, workshops, posters and flyers.
  • Preparing fire system, extinguishers distribution & evacuation plan.
  • Participate in setting technical specifications for personal protective equipment, devices & tasks.
  • Install safety devices on machinery or direct the installation of these devices.
  • Adhering to all safety and performance regulations.
  • Provide health and safety measures in a working environment
  • Carrying out the required occupational safety and health tasks.
  • Identify and evaluate the unsafe environment and practices.
  • Develop hazard control processes, methods and programs
  • Recommend solutions to issues that need improvement
  • Monitor implementation of safety plans according to plans and objectives
  • Monitor and track safety systems by using spreadsheets
  • Communicate plans and strategies across the entire business unit from time to time
  • Maintain and manage equipment and processes related to each project of health and safety
  • Measure and audit the effectiveness of hazard control programs.
  • Prepare future safety plans based on past experiences and facts

Job Requirements

  • Education: Mechanical engineering bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 2-4 Years Experience
