Job Description

  • Manage the Financial Resources channeled by donor agencies for environmental projects.
  • Prepare and design the strategies and Department’s operational plans and monitor their implementation as planned.
  • Follow up the finalization of contracting procedures for agreements with MSMEDA 's stakeholders.
  • Follow up the projects implemented through the Department, carry on field visits in coordination with the Regional Branches in the governorates and sponsoring agencies as well and take any corrective measures when needed.
  • Propose concepts for new projects concerning environmental protection field and preservation of natural resources in coordination with Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs, Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) and other entities involved in environmental protection.
  • Prepare needed documents necessary for submitting new projects on MSMEDA’s committees.
  • Finalize installment disbursement procedures for projects according to project disbursements conditions and approved budget.
  • Monitor the financial and technical reports submitted by sponsoring/implementing agencies and ensure effective management of implemented projects from both financially and technically sides in order to attain MSMEDA’s objectives.
  • Examine and handle the internal and external audit reports and remarks coming from internal departments i.e. Internal Audit Department, and external agencies i.e. Accountability State Authority (ASA) and prepare adequate reply on these remarks.
  • Upgrade policies and mechanisms supporting infrastructure and identify the community needs in accordance with MSMEDA’s objectives.
  • Establish effective communication channels with all stakeholders to motivate cooperation with them and introduce new funding mechanisms.
  • Upgrade work systems and mechanisms to maximize the Department’s activities.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant university degree 
  • Good command of English language
  • Experience not less than 5 years
  • Communication and Negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and innovate
