Job Description
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure proper storage of materials in designated areas to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including material quantities, locations, and movements.
- Issue materials to project sites or departments based on approved requests.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and organization of materials for easy identification.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store and comply with safety and security protocols.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory and stock movement reports
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction materials, inventory management practices, and warehousing operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
