Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Supervisor of Digital Treatment Planners to lead and manage a team responsible for creating and reviewing digital orthodontic treatment plans. This role combines clinical knowledge, technical precision, and leadership capabilities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality treatment setups. The ideal candidate will have a background in dentistry or orthodontics, experience with clear aligner treatment planning software, and proven team management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Digital Treatment Planning team.
- Review and approve treatment plans to ensure clinical accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with company standards.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and performance feedback to planners.
- Ensure timely turnaround of treatment plans and manage workload distribution.
- Collaborate with orthodontists, clinicians, and cross-functional teams to implement feedback and improvements.
- Monitor quality assurance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay up to date on the latest clear aligner protocols, tools, and software updates.
- Support the onboarding of new planners and contribute to SOP development and process optimization.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, Dental Technology, or a related clinical field (Orthodontics preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in digital treatment planning, preferably with clear aligners.
- Prior team leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in digital planning software (e.g., 3Shape, ClinCheck, OnyxCeph, or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
