Job Description
We are a foreign digital dental laboratory with over 30 years in business, looking to establish operations in Egypt for the first time. We are starting with hiring our lead operations manager to help us set up operations and hire a highly talented team. Here are the basics for the job:
- Oversee daily operations of the digital dental design center, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of dental technicians, designers, and support staff.
- Implement and optimize digital dental design processes, including CAD/CAM workflows and 3D printing.
- Collaborate with dentists, orthodontists, and other dental professionals to ensure precise and timely delivery of dental restorations.
- Monitor project timelines, allocate resources, and manage priorities to meet client expectations and deadlines.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Evaluate and integrate new digital technologies, software, and equipment to enhance center capabilities.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Provide training and ongoing professional development for team members on digital dental technologies.
- Prepare and present performance reports, identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in digital dental lab work, with proven leadership in a managerial or supervisory role.
Certified in popular dental design software with deep expertise in CAD/CAM workflows.
Demonstrated excellence in designing:
Crowns, bridges, veneers
Full arches and all-on-X cases (zirconia, thimble framework, implant bars)
Custom abutments, surgical guides
Cement- and screw-retained prosthetics
Orthodontics and Clear Aligners design.
Strong command of digital smile design, digital impression interpretation, and anatomical modeling.
Highly detail-oriented with a passion for precision and quality.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
