Job Description
Maintain accurate inventory records of spare parts for heavy commercial trucks and buses.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and manage replenishment orders.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and records.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and propose strategies for clearance or disposal.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan stock levels accordingly.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, generate reports, and analyze data.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to organize storage and optimize space utilization.
Job Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree of Automotive Mechanical Engineering, with minimum grade “Very Good”
● Proven work experience as a Stock Associate or similar role, Experience in heavy truck will be an advantage
● Exhibits strong organizational skills
● Is familiar with inventory software
● Pay close attention to detail
● Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills
● Understanding of various automotive parts terminology and specifications
