Job Description
- Coordinate with other Structure Technical Office engineers to produce shop drawings with focus on aesthetics and cost control.
- Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural and civil designs.
- Coordinate structural, electrical, and mechanical designs, and determine a method of presentation to graphically represent building plans.
- Resolve arising conflicts between various design components.
- Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings, and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.
- Determine and direct procedures and instructions to be followed according to design specifications and quantity of required materials.
- Obtain and assemble data to complete structure designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.
- Review requests for information (RFI) documents to ensure correctness and completeness for sending them to the customer or engineering consultant.
- Provide calculations of the quantities required of each material or design items especially in lump sum projects, and communicate these to relevant project personnel for cost estimation and analysis.
- Conduct site visits, in case the project is lump sum brown filed, to carry out measurements and calculations in order to verify the accuracy of survey data.
Job Requirements
- From 2 years to 6 years with Bridges projects.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
- Bridges projects experience is a Must.
- Very good English proficiency.
- Projects will be outside of Cairo.
