Job Description
- Verify instruments (when required) to ensure conformity to measurement standards before use, and follow up on calibration and qualification.
- Prepare reagents and monitor their stability.
- Perform sampling and analysis of water used in production and from the water station.
- Conduct analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished (bulk), and finished products.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for device operation, qualification, cleaning, and testing methods of raw and packaging materials.
- Update specifications and test methods for all materials and products as needed.
- Issue Out of Specification (OOS) reports for raw materials, semi-finished (bulk), or finished products that do not meet requirements.
- Oversee the handling and disposal of wastes generated from analysis activities.
- Issue certificates of analysis for raw materials, packaging materials, bulk, and finished products.
- Prepare trend analysis reports for raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and chemical tests of water samples.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Science (Chemistry branches).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a QC Specialist in a reputable pharmaceutical or cosmeceutical company.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
- High accuracy and attention to detail in performing analyses and reporting results.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet browsing.
- Language skills: Arabic (native) and very good English (written, reading, and speaking).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
