Job Description
- Manage and curate content for social media platforms.
- Create engaging and shareable content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement.
- Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Collaborate with the Communication Manager to align social media efforts with overall communication strategies.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand presence across all social media platforms.
- Coordinate social media campaigns and promotions to support specific events, programs, or initiatives.
- Page moderation (design, content, ads)
- Content creation and publishing
- Ad management and optimization
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Familiarity with Photoshop
- Strong grasp of social media trends and strategies
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
